In its on-going involvement with the community, the College of Education regularly organizes and sponsors events such as:

-Spring Walk Against Child Abuse

-Books for Children - an annual drive to provide books for the needy

-Literacy Research Symposium

-Community Outreach - the college has a long tradition of reaching out to the bluegrass community through a variety of centers and events

-Teachers Who Made a Difference - If you still wish to submit a name, you can nominate a teacher for the 2007 recognition.
