Named to the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2000

Joe B. Hall won the 1978 NCAA Championship, has three Final Four appearances, eight SEC titles, and twenty-three players drafted by the NBA.  These remarkable accomplishments earned Coach Joe B. Hall National Coach of the Year honors in 1978 and SEC Coach of the Year awards on four different occasions.  Coach Hall headed the UK men’s basketball team for 13 years with an overall record of 297 wins and 100 losses.  Coach Hall received his bachelor’s degree from the College of Education.
