Constantine W. "Deno" Curris is president of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from UK, his master's in political science and public administration from the University of Illinois, and his doctorate in higher education from UK. The Lexington native became president of AASCU in 1999 after serving nearly five years as president of Clemson University, 12 years as president of the University of Northern Iowa. He also has served as president of Murray State University, vice president and dean of the faculty at West Virginia Institute of Technology, dean of student personnel at Marshall University, and vice president and dean of the faculty at Midway College. |
