The Instructional Technology Center (ITC) recently has gone through some changes to better serve the UK College of Education Community. The former Front Desk that greeted patrons upon their arrival in ITC has been consolidated with the Computer Help Desk to form a centralized Service Desk to increase operation efficiency and improve the ITC experience for students, faculty and staff. Please come by ITC and see how they are working for you.

“With our centralized Service Desk and the new openness, we think the ITC is better able to serve our patrons. We are excited about our new collaboration spaces for group activities.” said Terry Edin, Interim Director of the ITC.

Another benefit for the College’s students, faculty and staff is the new Staff Lounge and Meeting Room in 125 Dickey Hall. This space, which includes two large tables and seating for 12 people, provides a nice alternative for small meetings and gatherings. While it is reserved for staff lunches from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday, the room is available for use by anyone within the College at other times of the day.

To reserve this space for your next meeting or gathering, call ITC at 257-7967 or 257-5696.
