Tiffany Pangall was the first student teacher in Fayette County to receive the Jane Chittenden Student Teacher Scholarship from KAPE at the end of October.  Ms. Pangall is a student teacher at Maxwell Elementary in Lexington and a student at the College of Education.

Beaumont Middle School is looking for College of Education students to volunteer for the "Beaumont Buddies" program. (flyer in PDF)  "Beaumont Buddies" are positive role models for students and committed to helping them succeed inside and outside the classroom.  The program meets each Wednesday, 4-6 p.m., in the Beaumont Middle School library.
