UK College of Education Web Page Construction
 

The College of Education wants to provide students, staff, and faculty with assistance for the construction of personal webpages.
  • If you are a UK student and you want to build your own webpage, click here.
  • If you are a UK staff or faculty and you want to construct your own webpage, click here
  • In either case you must review the web provider information for the University.

Please note the webpages which you build should be accessible to persons with visual handicaps in accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. A few key examples of these guidelines are: define all tables in terms of pixels, not percentages; label all images with "alt" tags; and do not leave spaces in the titles of any file names.

The College of Education has a webpolicy that needs to be understood before the document may be uploaded to the College's site. The college's website must adhere to federal and state laws and university policies.

Web versions of the official college logo are available online.

Web page construction can be a source of immediate feedback and immense satisfaction, or your supply of frustration for the day!
