-Rethinking the Writer, the Reader, and the Critic in Hispanic Women's Literature
--XII International Conference of the Asociación de Literatura Femenina Hispánica
--
University of Kentucky - September 13-15, 2001

The University of Kentucky is proud to host the XII International Conference of the Asociación de Literatura Femenina Hispánica in September 2001, in recognition of the lifetime contributions of Dr. Margaret E.W. Jones, one of the world's preeminent scholars of contemporary Spanish narrative. Through her work as critic and translator, she has helped to bring Spanish women's narrative to its current place of prominence in the U.S., and has guided many doctoral students to follow in her footsteps.
