My work is contemporary yet humanistic in nature. Through interpretative color, not only do I seek to arouse the senses, but I attempt to convey my love for oil painting. By incorporating the facets of traditional oil painting and color theory, I am able to promote a meditative dialogue between myself and the viewer. Uninhibited color and ambiguous space furthers this discourse. Therefore my paintings evoke a primal reaction while being informative of oil painting technique.
