Gary Rudolph is currently the Graduate Teaching Assistant with the Miami University (Ohio) Drum Line while he pursues his Masters Degree. He has instructed several high school drum lines including Lafayette H.S. of Lexington Ky., Lawrence Central H.S. of Indianapolis, In., North Hardin H.S. of Radcliffe, Ky. and Penn H.S. of Mishawaka, In.. He has also instructed private lessons and percussion ensembles at various locations throughout Kentucky and Indiana.
Gary's performance experience includes participation in a wide number of university ensembles at UK such as the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, and Orchestra. He has also performance experience with other ensembles ranging from local groups the Lexington Brass Band and the rock band Lucid Grey, to the internationally known Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from Rosemont, IL. Gary was a member of the front ensemble with the Cavaliers during 1994, 1995 and as co-section leader in 1996 . As a member of the Cavaliers, Gary won the Drum Corps International World Championship and High Percussion Award in 1995 as well as the D.C.I. World Champion Percussion Ensemble in 1996.
