Come join the excitement of music at UK, whether as a music major, music minor, or participant in a music ensemble.

The School of Music is a vital, friendly department of the UK College of Fine Arts. We currently have around 400 music students with 40 full-time and several part-time award winning faculty.
Because of our common interests in music and the bonds we feel as we work together, our students feel like they are part of a small college. Music activities are housed primarily in our renovated Fine Arts Building, the Singletary Center for the Arts, and the Lucille Little Fine Arts Library and Learning Center.
The ratio of students to faculty in music is approximately nine to one. Unlike many undergraduate majors, music majors start specialized studies immediately -- you become part of the Music scene from your first day on campus!
