Dear Women’s Choir Alumnus,

Greetings! I hope that this letter reaches you well. We have excellent news to share with you. The past members of the UK Women’s Choir are forming an alumni organization. There will be several purposes for the alumni group. Not only will we be a backbone organization to support the current women’s choir, but we also will now have a method to keep in contact with one another. Plus, there is always the bonus of have join performance trips between the alumni and student choirs. This past summer twelve alumni toured Europe with the women’s choir for our first student/alumni tour. I must say that the trip was fabulous!!

We hope that you will take this opportunity to join the alumni group. In order to join the group you need to submit the attached sheet of information and pay annual dues. Annual dues for the women’s choir will be $25.00 for basic membership, $50.00 for professional membership, and $100.00 for patroness members. The basic membership entails reduced concert admission for all women’s choir concerts, admission to the alumni reception after the women’s choir concerts beginning in Spring 2006, and an invitation to any student/alumni performance trip. The professional membership includes the same benefits of the basic in addition to the Women’s Choir polo shirt, that will be needed for student/alumni performances. The patroness membership includes all the benefits of the professional membership and the current women’s choir CD. Dues will be used to fund alumni mailings, support performance trips, fund future women’s choir recordings, and support the current goals of the UK Women’s Choir. Eventually we hope that dues will also fund scholarships for deserving women’s choir members.

We have spent the past several months trying to find up-to-date addresses for as many past members of the women’s choir as possible. We now have a small list of addresses assembled, but there are plenty of women’s choir members that we still do not have contact information for at the present time. If you know of a friend that did not receive this mailing, but should have, then contact Sarah Taylor at sarahhelen824@yahoo.com so that we can get her the information to join the alumni group.
