UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

Minor in Theatre

New in 2007-2008

Students from any college or department may choose to minor in theatre. this minor requires at least 21 hours of course work arranged as follows:
 
1. Prerequisites  

TA 126 Acting I: Fundamentals of Acting

3 hr.

TA 150 Fundamentals of Design & Production

3 hr.

When appropriate, upper level courses may be substituted with the approval of the student's advisor and the chair of the Department of Theatre.

 
2. Co-curricular Experience
TA 390 Theatre Practicum (repeat three times)
3 hr.
 
3. Elective Theatre Courses
12 hr.
Of these 12 hours, at least three hours must be at the 300-level or above. Students may opt to fulfill University Studies Program requirements with the following classes and count them toward the minor:

In order to make your minor official, students must file a form in the College of Fine Arts' Dean's office. This form may be obtained in Room #206 of the Fine Arts Building. It is recommended the form be filed when you have almost completed requirements for the minor.
