Ibsen’s classic play A Doll’s House demands that the audience take a serious look at the role of women in society. It is a scathing criticism of the blind acceptance of the traditional roles of men and women in Victorian marriage.  Ibsen’s play was written in 1879 and is considered one of the forerunning pieces of the feminist movement in literature and art.  UK Theatre takes an innovative approach to this timeless drama and gives it fresh, new appeal on the Guignol stage.

“Nora, darling, you're dancing as if your life depended on it!”
