Arlene Hutton's provocative play is a powerful and compelling re-creation of a decisive time in the history of one of the most fascinating religious communities in America—the Shakers. Hutton's play is infused with an angelic feel, and punctuated by beautiful Shaker songs and dancing. The ensemble is comprised of nine UK student actresses, coached by faculty director Rhoda-Gale Pollack and Shaker Village music coordinator Donna Phillips. Don’t miss this memorable Kentucky event!
