General Education Reform
SharePoint Site

The GenEd SharePoint site serves as a repository for information on the faculty curricular teams and the co-curricular team of General Education Reform, including:

  • meeting times and venues of the faculty curricular teams (NOTE: faculty are all invited to attend)
  • team rosters (names and email addresses) for each of the ten faculty curricular teams and the co-curricular team;
  • document libraries for each of the teams (the teams' working documents, including their draft templates and meeting summaries); and,
  • a link to the main GenEd website and the "Send a Comment" page where faculty can post comments for public viewing.

To navigate around the site or view a document, move your cursor over the name of an item and press the LEFT mouse button. To return to the SharePoint homepage, click on the phrase "General Education Reform" in the upper left-hand corner of any web page within the site.

Instructions for accessing the GenEd SharePoint site:

  1. Point your web browser to (or just click on the URL below)
    http://academics.uky.edu/GenEdReform
  2. Before you can access the Sharepoint site, you must login on the authentication popup window (if you do not see a popup window requesting you to login, there might be a problem with your browser settings. Call the UKIT Help Desk at 257-1300)
  3. To login, enter your MyUK username and password as follows:
    • username: ad\<your MyUK username> or mc\< your MyUK username>
    • password: your MyUK password
