UKAN Advocates will meet in Lexington for lunch and their annual meeting. President Todd will provide an update on the University's progress toward Top 20, faculty and student researchers will talk about the work they are doing to impact the lives of Kentuckians and Advocates will have an opportunity to talk about what is happening in their local communities..

2006 UKAN Fall Meeting

WHERE: Lexmark Public Room, University of Kentucky Main Building

UKAN Advocates will meet in Lexington for their annual meeting and reception at Maxwell Place. President Todd will give an update on the University's progress toward Top 20, Sen. Alice Forgy Kerr and Rep. Kathy Stein will review the past legislative session and its impact on education and Advocates will talk about how UK can continue to impact their local communities. Following the meeting, the President and Mrs. Todd will greet Advocates and their guests for a reception at their home, Maxwell Place.

UKAN Advocates are invited to Frankfort to have lunch with their legislators, where President Lee T. Todd will outline our legislative priorities for the 2006 General Assembly and our quest to become a Top 20 Public Research University. The most exciting part- you invite your legislators. That’s right. We encourage you to contact your legislators and ask them to join you in Frankfort for an afternoon of education and empowerment.


2005 UKAN Fall Meeting

WHERE: Hyatt Regency Hotel Lexington, Kentucky

UKAN Advocates met in Lexington for their annual meeting, which included an action-packed agenda with Senator Tom Buford, Representative Bob Damron, President Lee T. Todd, Jr., Dean Kenneth B. Roberts, and Bob Wiseman. Advocates had an opportunity to learn about our priority issues in the upcoming legislative session, as well as our capital projects and the College of Pharmacy. President Todd presented the preliminary Top 20 Business Plan for the University.
