The following document was updated in January 2002:
On January 25, 2002, the National Institutes of Health updated information regarding the salary limitation as it relates to NIH grant and cooperative agreement awards (the NIH Salary Cap). Effective on January 1, 2002, the NIH Salary Cap is increased to $166,700. This increased cap has been incorporated in the table of Funding Limitations. The policy language has also been modified to reflect Stanford University's change to PeopleSoft acounting processes. The underlying requirements of the policy are unchanged.
