Hiring official "script"

Pre-employment National Background Checks (PNBC) will apply to all newly hired employees University-wide effective July 12, 2006 (including all employees beginning work on or after this date).

Additionally, Pre-employment Drug Screening (PDS) will apply to regular new hires in the following areas:

Office of EVPHA (H3999)
Hospital (HXXXX) [Previously 7#XXX]
College of Dentistry (7AXXX)
College of Health Sciences (7NXXX)
College of Medicine (7HXXX)
College of Nursing (7EXXX)
College of Pharmacy (7KXXX)
College of Public Health (7PXXX)
Parking and Security, Medical Center (3HLXX)
Physical Plant Division, Medical Center (3CMXX)
Contracted employees and consultants providing services in clinical areas

NOTE: UK employees presently in temporary or non-regular positions (HR temporary or pool positions in OTHER THAN Employment Status 1, 2, 3, or A) are required to complete PDS prior to moving into regular positions. Technically, they are "new hires" into regular positions.
