New! Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield replaces Humana as UK health plan administrator starting July 1, 2013
the University of Kentucky has selected Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as its new health plan administrator for the plan year that begins July 1. Online Enrollment
Through myUK Employee Self-Service, you may enroll online during Open Enrollment, anytime from your work or home computer, beginning April 22. Contact us with any Open Enrollment questions.

Need to add dependents or beneficiaries during Open Enrollment?
Keep in mind, information on new dependents/beneficiaries must be added to myUK before they can be added to your UK benefit plan(s). Click here for step-by-step instructions on adding dependents/beneficiaries.
Paper Enrollment
You may choose to submit benefit enrollment changes using paper forms. Printer-friendly 2013-14 forms will be available through this site during the Open Enrollment period.

Regular full-time employees and part-time employees will receive a 2013-14 Benefits newsletter/enrollment guide during the week of April 22. If you are a current employee of the University, carefully review both this newsletter and your 2012 Total Compensation Statement (available online through myUK - click here for instructions) to take maximum advantage of available benefits.
Retirees will be mailed benefits packets, including a 2013-14 Benefits Booklet.
