How to Enroll
Two Convenient Options for Open Enrollment
1. Online Option
You may enroll from your office computer or in the comfort of your own home from your own computer. Computer help will be available during Open Enrollment at 112 Scovell Hall.
It’s easy! During Open Enrollment, visit the myUK Web site. Enter your link blue user ID and password and click “sign on.” (This is the ID/ password you use to log into your Exchange e-mail account, or in some cases, to log into SAP.) Then follow the Online Benefits Quick Start Guide.
2. Paper Option
Enroll using paper forms. Pick up forms at 112 Scovell Hall or 375 Service Building or print enrollment forms.
Choices
As you may know, UK offers a wide variety of unique benefits for you and your family, from health, vision and dental plans to retirement plans and more. The enrollment packet mailed to your home will highlight the many benefit choices available to you as a UK employee.
- Read the enrollment packet to learn more about the benefit options available.
- Compare your current coverage options, benefits and costs with other coverage that may be available. These options are conveniently listed in tables for each primary benefit (health, dental, vision).
- Decide which types and levels of coverage you and your family need. Also, consider the county where you live and check availability of plans in that county (click here for county health plan availability listing).
- Enroll online or print enrollment forms. As a current employee, you may need to re-enroll during Open Enrollment, which begins April 27 and ends at 5:00 p.m., (EST), May 15, 2009, if you wish to change, drop or add coverage (see "Do I need to fill our new forms?" on this Web site). As a new employee you will need to enroll if you are adding coverage for the first time.
- If you choose to enroll using paper forms, return them during Open Enrollment to Employee Benefits at 112 Scovell Hall between 8:00 a.m., April 27 and 5:00 p.m. (EST), May 15, 2009. New employees may submit enrollment forms to 112 Scovell Hall within 30 days of their official start date.
