The fourth annual Ready! Set! Go! Back-to-School Rallies are scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2009.
School Physicals
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is providing special clinics for school physicals to help families get kids ready for this fall. The clinics run 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Wednesday in July and August at the Public Health Clinic South, 2433 Regency Road. The cost is based on income. Call (859) 899-5201 for an appointment. Please bring the child’s immunization records.

Beginning Aug. 3, back-to-school supplies will be distributed from the Family Resource Center at Simmons Elementary School, 830 Tyrone Pike in Versailles. Hours for school-supply pickup are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call (859) 873-7663.
