Sample questions include:
- Facility’s accreditation, certification and/or license.
- Facility’s physical condition: is it clean, safe, inviting to children?
- Caregiver’s qualifications, training and length of time at center.
- Is a staff person certified in CPR and First Aid on duty at all times?
- Staff to Child ratio? Is this depended on child’s age?
- Group Size? Is this dependent on child’s age?
- Balance of quiet and active play?
- Are there age appropriate activities and materials that promote the development of the child?
