UK@Work Survey Results: Workload and Resources (Faculty)
Three quarters of faculty respondents report their teaching load (76 percent) and expectations for service and outreach (76 percent) are “about right.” Nearly eight of 10 (79 percent) also report advising responsibilities are “about right.”
Over half of faculty rate internal funding (57 percent), staff resources (67 percent), and space, equipment and material support (61 percent) related to scholarship and creative activities as “too little.”
