Advertising Guidelines
Per Human Resouces Policy and Procedure 10.3.4 Advertising, employment advertisements are coordinated by the Employment Office. Advertisements are required to be in a standardized format and comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Advertisements must contain an equal opportunity statement. The following statement is recommended, space permitting: “University of Kentucky is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from minorities and women.” At minimum, advertisements should contain this phrase: "An Equal Opportunity University." The Employment Specialist assigned to your position will assist in developing any advertising for that position and ensure all advertisements meet these standards.
