Search Committee Orientation and Responsible Hiring Practices

Search Committee Orientation (SCO) and Responsible Hiring Practices (RHP) are two presentations designed to educate and inform interview search committees, hiring process coordinators, and departments of their responsibilities throughout the hiring process. The SCO and RHP presentations offer consistent and legally-defensible hiring processes that comply with University and HR policies and procedures and delivers information concerning:

Managing the Interview.
Choosing interview questions.
Handling reference and background checks.
Learning important general interviewing guidelines.

HR Employment will go directly to individual departments and present the SCO or RHP sessions. Below is a sample presentation agenda:
