Don't Miss Women's Forum Climbing the Ladder
at UK Conference, April 28-April 29

This year the Women’s Forum will present its  first annual conference, Climbing the UK Ladder: Tips for Women on April 28-29.  This conference is designed to help UK employees set and achieve their career goals, with inspiring speeches and practical advice from nationally and locally renowned experts, panel sessions from female leaders at UK, and personalized guidance on your next career move! We also invite you to register for the Sarah Bennett Holmes luncheon on the April 29. This event, which recognizes the accomplishments of female staff and faculty (see details below), coincides with the Women's Forum conference.

Please make plans to attend or share this information with colleagues throughout your area! All conference events are available at no cost.  

On April 28, the conference will begin with a dinner celebrating the success of women at UK. Our featured speaker is UK alumna Liz Cornish, leadership consultant author of the best-selling book, Hit the Ground Running: A Woman’s Guide to Success the First 100 Days on the Job.  Don’t miss it!

On April 29th, the Women's Forum will host several 50-minute concurrent workshops through including topics such as developing mentoring relationships, planning for retirement, thinking like a hiring official, and a panel session with UK women who have successfully worked their way up in the University.  Check out the events that interest you most!

Please join us in honoring outstanding female faculty and staff on the 29th during the Sarah Bennett Holmes Award luncheon. Nominations are still being accepted until April 4th. Please submit nominations online here.
