94.1.5.1 An employee who retires under the provisions of AR II 1.6-1, who was employed on or after July 1, 1997 who has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of continuous service immediately prior to the date of retirement, and who is enrolled in a University health care plan at the time of retirement, is eligible for the credit as long as the retiree's enrollment in a University health care plan is continuous. |
An employee who retires under the provisions of AR II 1.6-1, who was hired on or after July 1, 1997 but before January 1, 2006, who has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of continuous service immediately prior to the date of retirement, and who is enrolled in a University health care plan at the time of retirement, is eligible for the credit as long as the retiree's enrollment in a University health care plan is continuous. |
94.1.5.2 Retired individuals eligible for University supplemental retirement benefit calculations (referred to as the “old unfunded plan”) are eligible for the credit regardless of their years of service. |
An employee who retires under the provisions of AR II 1.6-1, who was hired on or after January 1, 2006, who has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of continuous service immediately prior to the date of retirement, and who is enrolled in a University health care plan at the time of retirement, is not eligible for the credit. However, the retired employee is allowed to participate in a University health care plan on an “access only” basis as long as the retiree’s enrollment in a University health care plan is continuous. |
