  • Self-paced courses, online books, vLabs, wikis, discussion forums, and expert blogs
  • Brainbench.com exams specializing in certification and skills assessment

How much does it cost?

eTraining & Development is available at no charge to University of Kentucky staff, faculty, and students.

How do I sign up? How do I create an account?

You need your LinkBlue userID and password.

If you have any questions regarding your LinkBlue username and password, please contact the IT Customer Service Center. You may stop by the Customer Service Center at 111 McVey Hall from 7AM to 6PM Monday through Friday, call 218-HELP or send email helpdesk@uky.edu.

What is a course collection?

All of the courses are divided by topic into one of four different course collections:

  • Desktop Applications
  • IT Professional
  • Project Management
  • Cisco®

For example, Microsoft Office and other business-related applications can be found in the Desktop Applications Complete Collection; web design, programming, and networking courses are in the IT Professional Complete Collection. You will have to sign-up for each collection before you will have access to any of the courses contained in that collection.

The Project Management and Cisco Course Collections are available on a 'request-only' basis due to the limited number of subscriptions available. Please send an email to learn@uky.edu to request a subscription to either the Project Management or Cisco Course Collections.

If you have any question regarding subscriptions or are having difficulty finding the information and training in which you are interested, please contact us at either 257-3856 or learn@uky.edu
