 As a new employee, one of your first thoughts might be "Where will I park?" or "Are there alternatives to driving my car?" Here are some options:
Parking Permits
To park on UK's campus, you are required to purchase and display a valid UK permit. If needed, temporary permits are available until your employment paperwork has been processed. Permits can be obtained at the Parking & Transportation Services office, located at 721 Press Avenue (Parking Structure #6), Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Alternative Transportation
An alternative to driving your own car could be to carpool, take the bus or ride your bike.
The CATS shuttle service, which runs regularly through and around campus, is free of charge to all employees and students. More information about available services can be found at www.uky.edu/Parking, or call Parking Services at (859) 257-5757.
