2013 UK Student Employee of the Year Nomination Period:
Nominate a deserving student employee by Friday, March 22

University of Kentucky Student Employers:

Please join the UK Human Resources Student Employment Office in publically recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements of University of Kentucky student employees. We proudly announce the Sixth Annual Student Employee of the Year Contest. University employers are asked to nominate one undergraduate student employee who has shown exemplary commitment and initiative in his/her work.

The University of Kentucky HR Student Employee of the Year Program will select 10-15 finalists to compete for Student Employee of the Year. Each finalist and their nominating supervisor will be recognized at an award ceremony on Wednesday, April 10.

We encourage all employers to nominate their outstanding student worker by Friday, March 22. Feel free to pass this opportunity on to other supervisors in your area.

Students must meet the following criteria in order to be nominated:

  1. Students must currently be work-study or hourly student employees at UK.
  2. Students must have completed or expect to complete at least six months of part-time or 3 months of full-time employment on or before April, 2013.
  3. Students may not be employees of the UK HR Student Employment Office.
  4. Students must be in a UK undergraduate degree program and enrolled in at least a half time credit load for both Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.
