This year's keynote features UK's own Suzanne Segerstrom, PhD, of the UK Department of Psychology. Dr. Segerstrom's motivating talk will focus on research highlighting key habits for happiness and health. Take Control of Your Health with the Chronic Disease Self Management Program
CDSM (Chronic Disease Self Management Program) is free workshop taught once a week for 2.5 hours for 6 consecutive weeks starting Monday October 29th. Because people with different chronic health conditions attend class together, it encourages a team approach to learning how to deal with symptoms of chronic disease. If you are living with a chronic condition, this workshop can help you better manage your illness. What would we consider a chronic disease? Here are a few examples:

Highlights this year include a reading from the new play, Boats Against the Current, which explores the effects of an Alzheimer's diagnosis on a family and the Virtual Dementia Tour, a unique simulation that gives participants a glimpse into living with dementia.
