Important Update
Please instruct all separated employees to list 109 Scovell Hall, Lexington, KY 40506 as the address of last/former employer when submitting claims AND fax all correspondence regarding specific unemployment cases to UK Unemployment at (859) 323-1075 immediately. Refer Unemployment Inquiries to Us
When faculty and staff are needed as witnesses, or for documentation regarding separation of an employee, they will be notified by the University Unemployment office. If a state or local unemployment office should contact your office asking questions regarding the termination of an employee, refer them to the University Unemployment office at (859) 257-9189. Do not give out employee termination information.

Required Documentation
Documentation may be needed by the University Unemployment Office at time of termination (documentation needs to be sent within 24 hours of employee termination to Personnel Records). Click here for a list of documents that may be required.
