RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE USE OF FRAMES
WITH THE UK MASTER NAVIGATION BAR
The UK Master NAV BAR is designed to work at 640 by 480 resolution and higher. The NAV BAR code is backwardly compatible with most Netscape and Explorer browsers and delivered as a server-side include with the code provided in the UK Web Publishers Only area.
Given the minimum width requirements of 640 pixels, the NAV BAR must always reside in the TOP FRAME in a Web site using frames as the two examples below will illustrate:
A. This site uses two frames, a LEFT INDEX FRAME and a BODY FRAME. If the NAV BAR is placed inside the BODY FRAME as shown in example #1 the bar will exceed the 640 minimum width and all of the bar may not be visible. In example #2 the bar is placed inside a NEW TOP FRAME which should work properly under most conditions.

B. If your Web site already uses two or more frames simply add the NAV BAR above the existing content in the CURRENT TOP FRAME as shown below:
