Question

Which personnel action should I use to extend a person’s assignment for one month?  The individual is not changing positions.

Answer

Unless the assignment is delimited, you will not have to do anything.  Once the assignment ends, you will need to do an End Assignment Action.  If all assignments are ended, do a Separation action.
