The Steering Committee, the primary source for long-term goal and vision, advises the IRIS Project Team on priorities, scope, and institution-wide issues. The Steering Committee aids in promoting the IRIS Project throughout the university.

Steering Committee members will:

• Commit the required resources to the project;
• Monitor the progress and the organizational impact of the project;
• Enable the IRIS Project Team to make decisions;
• Resolve escalated issues;
• Generate timely decisions; and
• Support efforts to accomplish the project goal.
