Welcome to the website of the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness!

Our office plays a leadership role in supporting the ongoing planning, budgeting and assessment cycle of the University of Kentucky. This website is provided in fulfillment of our responsibilities to

• support executive decision-making, strategic planning and evaluation, and quality enhancement;
• establish and disseminate official data to the University community and conduct surveys and research projects that inform planning and policy decisions; and
• consult with educational and administrative units to support their planning and assessment activities and promote a culture of assessment and continuous improvement.

This website represents a collaborative effort among various campus offices responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of information necessary for institutional effectiveness activities; completion of surveys for external agencies; and any other report for which a one-time snapshot of official university data is needed. We are appreciative of the spirit of collaboration among all those who are participating in this effort, and we thank you for your time and support.
