From 1992 to 2001, the total number of degrees increased 16 percent. The Provost Area grew by 17 percent and the Medical Center grew by 7 percent.
The greatest rise in the Universty System took place at the Master's level at the Medical Center (99%), while the greatest decline took place at the Bachelor's level at the Medical Center (-30%).
Over the past ten years the greatest increases in the Provost Area took place in the Colleges of Architecture (124%), Agriculture (42%), and Fine Arts (39%), while the greatest decreases took place in Social Work (-9%) and Communications and Information Studies (-2%).
