From 1994 to 2003, the African American population on campus grew 27%, while overall enrollments at UK increased by 8%. African American students constituted 4% of the total enrollment in 1994 and 5% in 2003. The College of Social Work has the largest percentage of African American students (10%), while the smallest percentage (2%) is in Pharmacy.
