UK's
Microsoft Software Agreement provides all regular full and part
time employees with a prepaid Exchange license. Departments needing
an Exchange mailbox or services for other employees, not eligible
as a regular employee of the University, may purchase licenses through
Communications & Network Systems enabling them the full utility
of UK's Exchange system.
To activate
an Exchange computer account, you first need to send a completed
Computing
Accounts Request Form to the Information Technology Customer
Service Center (Fax: 859 257-9374). They will determine whether
the individual is eligible for a license under the Microsoft Software
Agreement or whether a license must be purchased from CNS.
For
Retirees:
To retain
your Exchange email account, a nominal fee of $13.46 is required
to purchase an Exchange license.
