The NEMOC LAN Services group is comprised of CNE and MSCE certified professionals who support the Novell NDS tree of servers and offers server and desktop support throughout the University campus. Managing and monitoring the University’s servers is primarily accomplished via Novell’s ZENworks for servers.

The LAN Services group offers:

• Local Area Network design and support;
• Consulting to departmental support personnel for existing LANs;
• Assistance to users in the understanding and use of client/server tools;
• Workgroup solutions for campus departments; and
• Installation and support of networking products.

Support help is available through either a time-and-materials call, or by establishing a long-term contract.
