Three-Way
Calling
Allows a third party (another internal station or an outside party)
to be added to an existing conversation.
- Ask the first
party to remain on the line
- Enter Switchhook
flash/Link (Listen for flash tone)
- Key in number
of the party to be added
(Wait for party to answer)
- Announce
you are setting up a conference call
- Switchhook
flash/Link
(Talk
to both parties) You may leave a three-way conference as long
as one of the remaining parties is an inside party.
Six-Way Calling
(Station Controlled Conference)
Allows a station to establish a multi-party conference (up to 6
participants) without the aid of an operator. You’ll hear a
conference warning tone each time someone enters the conference.
- Lift handset
- Key *
5 1 (Listen for flash tone)
- Key in number
of first party. : If you encounter a busy, no answer, or if you
make an error in dialing, Switchhook flash/Link twice to reconnect
to the original party.
(Wait for answer)
- Announce
that you are setting up conference
To
add remaining parties:
- Switchhook flash/Link (Listen
for flash tone)
- Key in number of next party (Wait
for party to answer)
- Switchhook flash/Link (Party
is now included in the conference)
