| The Group Call Pick-Up
allows you to intercept
calls directed to another station within the same pick-up group
without having to know the ringing station’s number. Only members
of your assigned pick-up group can answer calls for other group
members. To activate this feature:
- Lift handset
- Key * 1 7
- (The call will transfer to your
phone)
If
you hear a reorder tone after dialing the access code, the following
may apply:
- You’ve dialed the wrong access
code
- Someone else has intercepted the
call ahead of you
- The ringing station is not a member
of your pick-up group
- The ringing is a recall (e.g., callback
of the camp-on feature)
Directed Call Pick-Up allows
you to answer a specific ringing telephone even if it is outside
of your assigned pick-up group. To activate this feature:
- Lift handset
- Key * 1 8
- Key in the ringing station’s
number
- (The call will transfer to your
phone). If busy tone is heard, the call has already been
answered.
Extended Group Call Pick-Up allows
you to intercept calls directed to another station in a different
pick-up group without knowing the ringing station’s number.
To activate this feature:
- Lift handset
- Key * 1 9
- (The call will transfer
to your phone)
