ECONOMICS A or B (1/2 unit each)

This course focuses on economic systems and theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, the role of advertising and consumers' rights, laws of supply and demand and the basic marketing principles. It also includes the measure of economic performance, money and the banking system, the Federal Reserve System, unemployment, inflation, the global economy, international trade, capitalism and socialism, characteristics of developing nations and their economic growth, direct foreign investment in the United States, economic changes and the impact that the Internet is having on the economy and cybernomics.
