OF STANDARD:
Software to perform
ordinary office functions, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis,
and graphics support, all in an integrated environment.
RATIONALE:
Compatible linked office software suites present the same "look-and-feel"
to the user, maximize productivity, and minimizing training expense. Integration
allows formatted data to be transferred easily from one forum to another.

Microsoft Office 2003 Professional is included in the Microsoft Campus Agreement. It provides
the full scope of required functions, and is fully compatible with Microsoft
Exchange. A common office suite throughout the University
allows for transparent data interchange.
