DEFINITION OF STANDARD:
A key telephone system is a telephone system that allows the user access to multiple telephone lines. A modern key system also offers features such as intercom, call-forward, call pick-up, paging and conference calling. Most key systems can interface with other communications applications such as Auto-Attendant, Voicemail, Automatic Call Distributor and Call Accounting.
