IDEA Sessions

Information and Discussion of Education Abroad

These sessions are the first step in the Education Abroad process.

Here is where you learn about the incredible variety of opportunities available to you as a UK student to incorporate an international academic experience into your program of studies. We discuss the various types of programs, highlighting some of the most popular options. We outline the entire process of Education Abroad, from application, through your overseas experience, to incorporating your experience into your résumé. We provide information on financial matters, including financial aid and which types of programs will best fit your budget. Academic matters, including credit transfer and approval of UK course equivalencies, are also discussed.

Most importantly, this is where you can get your questions answered!

We encourage all UK students to attend an IDEA session, even those who are merely curious. You'll be amazed how easy it is to study abroad. Find out now so you do not regret missing your chance. The earlier you start investigating and planning your Education Abroad experience, the easier it is to maximize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

IDEA Sessions are held every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon in 207 Bradley Hall.

Wednesdays: 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursdays: 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
