Work & Volunteer Abroad Opportunities

UK students interested in work or volunteer programs that are not credit-bearing will find resources in our Education Abroad Library in 113 Bradley Hall. In addition, we have listed here some websites frequently used and recommended by our students. We encourage you to speak with others who have participated in a program. Most programs will provide you with contact information for students who have just completed the program.

In some cases, volunteer or work abroad programs may fulfill an internship or practicum requirement for your major. Please see your academic advisor to discuss the program and to determine whether credit will be awarded. We remind you that all UK students who expect to receive academic credit for programs abroad must apply to and be approved by Education Abroad at UK, including students on programs run by independent third-party providers.
