Spring 2009 ESL Offerings

The UK Center for English as a Second Language has announced that the Semi-Intensive English Program classes will begin on Thursday, January 22 at 6 p.m. in White Hall Classroom Building. Applications are still welcomed. Call 257-5998.
All Specialty Classes for the Spring I Session will be delayed by one week. Some new classes have also been added.
Session I ESL Specialty classes are:
- Pronunciation for Non-Native Speakers of English, Part I, 12:30-1:45 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday, Bradley Hall 13, 1/27/09-3/5/09
- Pronunciation for Non-Native Speakers of English, Part I, 6-7:15 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday, CB 204, 1/27/09-3/5/09
- Professional Writing, 6-7:15 p.m., Monday & Wednesday, 6-7:15 p.m., CB 343, 1/26/09-3/4/09
- Professional Presentation for Advanced Speakers, Tuesday & Thursday, 12:30-1:45 p.m., TPC 101 (Thomas Poe Cooper Bldg), 1/27/09-3/5/09
- Advanced Grammar, 4:15-5:30 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday, 4:15-5:30 p.m., Room TBA, 1/27/09-3/5/09
Participants need to register for classes with the Center for ESL in Patterson Office Tower, Room 1235 or 1237.

The UK Center for English as a Second Language offers the Semi-Intensive Language Program, as well as a variety of new specialty courses for Spring 2009. Two new classes will focus on professional presentations. There are also mid-day classes available. Click the links below for more information.
