Guest Kenyan Artist
The University of Kentucky Department of Art has been privileged to host leading Kenyan artists through the UK Kenyan Artist-in-Residence program funded by the Ruth Hunt Wood Foundation. OIA organized an opportunity for the 2006-2007 Kenyan artist-in-residence, Jes’se Ng’ang’ a native of Nairobi, to visit Lexington Traditional Magnet School to present information to the students about his country and his art.
