K-12 Educational Initiatives
From international resources to school presentations, the UK Office of International Affairs (OIA) offers many options to give Kentucky’s students a global perspective.
The Bluegrass International Program Resource Center contains curriculum materials and artifacts for loan to educators throughout the state. Moreover, OIA staff can work with educators to design activities to enhance and enrich classroom curriculum.
International Classroom brings the world into the classroom through the use of global artifacts, multicultural lesson plans and presentations by OIA staff and UK international students.
During International Education Week, Kentucky high school students are invited to visit campus and learn more about opportunities to make internationalization part of a college education.
From kindergarten through graduation, OIA is here to help every Kentucky student explore the world.
